It is white ceramic with a picture of the head of Elsie wearing a daisy necklace. Her name is written below the picture. On the bottom of the mug it states: Licensed by Elsie Enterprises, NY. Made in USA (tradmark symbol) Borden Co. An inner circles says: Continental Kilns. Inside that circle of words is a picture of a teapot with Inc. in the middle of the teapot.
