Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 tbsp melted butter
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup Key lime juice
  • 1 tbsp grated lime zest

Instructions
 

  • To make the pie, first preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • In a medium bowl, combine the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until well mixed. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
  • In a separate large bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, Key lime juice, and lime zest until well combined. Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust.
  • Bake the pie for 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is set and the crust is lightly golden. Let the pie cool to room temperature, then chill it in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
  • To serve the pie, top it with whipped cream or meringue, and garnish with additional lime zest if desired.
